Inclusive Teaching Practices course

Teachers need to understand how they can create accessible learning environments, so they do not prevent their students from being able to study effectively.

Accessible learning environments support students with learning difficulties, disabilities and long-term health conditions. In improving teaching practices for these students, staff will also improve access for all students and staff.

The Inclusive Teaching Practices course teaches staff how to teach in ways that helps everyone in their class to learn effectively, in particular those with disabilities. The course provides practical advice on how to develop learning materials and teach in a way that does not disadvantage those with disabilities.
